Our approach: finding the right voice tone
Choosing the right voice means you need to focus on your listener. For the new recording, we searched our database of 94 professional voices.
For example, our Flemish voice Sen sounds deep and warm. It radiates calm confidence. For a Dutch audience, a voice like Gwenny has a very natural, familiar sound. In the end, we chose a Flemish voice that perfectly balanced accessibility and authority.
Our director's tip for recording
As voice directors, we see every day what makes the difference during a studio recording. Here is our most important practical tip:
Director's tip: Ask the voice actor to read a paragraph as if they are telling it to one person at the coffee machine. Not to a room full of people. As soon as the voice drops the 'presentation mode', any forced tone disappears. You immediately get a natural, believable sound.
The result: trust and clear communication
After the re-recording, the audience's reaction changed completely. The video was no longer seen as a dry obligation. It became a pleasant introduction. Thanks to the right emphasis and a human approach, the information resonated better.
The investment for a professional voice recording is clearly structured. For a corporate film or e-learning, you usually pay per word or per project. For a commercial campaign, the price includes a fixed basic studio recording fee. This is combined with a buy-out for usage and duration on specific media.
