Options Menu

• Sales: press 1
• Support: press 2
• Accounts: press 3
• Callback Request: press 0

At a Glance

• Goal: every caller knows immediately what to expect.
• Tone: warm, concise, and on-brand.
• Action: always mention an alternative channel (email, form).

Ideal Length

Aim for 20-25 seconds per message. Longer scripts lead to callers hanging up; shorter scripts may lack sufficient context.

Basic Rules for Every Phone Script

• Company name in the first sentence.
• Clear callback promise or redirection.
• One message per script; avoid trying to say everything at once.

Tone and Pace

Write as you speak. Avoid jargon unless your target audience expects it. Let professional voice artists determine the rhythm and pacing.

Common Mistakes
